RAGEQUIT PRIVACY POLICY
Your phone.
Your business.
Your RageQuit rules, tracked use and challenge activity stay on your device. Google Play handles Full Access purchases and their related billing services.
Effective October 19, 2026. This policy describes the RageQuit Android app and this website, operated by G&K Studios LLC. It applies to the current app, including its free allowance and Google Play Full Access purchase.
What stays on your device
The Android app stores selected apps, rules, intensity caps, tracked-use totals and the progress needed to resume unfinished challenges. It can retain unfinished editor drafts and your place in the app when Android recreates a screen or process. It stores a verifier for your six-digit Rage Code rather than a recoverable copy of the original code. These records support the app’s local operation.
RageQuit has no separate user account, advertising service, app-owned analytics or cloud copy of these records. Its billing integration does not upload your selected apps, rules, Rage Code, usage records, challenge progress or microphone samples. The app includes network access for Google Play billing and its SDK services; it is not a network-free app.
Google Play purchases and network services
Full Access is a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google processes the transaction using your Google Play account and payment information under its own terms and Google Privacy Policy. RageQuit does not receive your payment-card number.
RageQuit receives purchase status and app-specific purchase records, including the product identifier, purchase token, signed receipt and acknowledgement state, to verify and restore access. Confirmed receipts are stored on the device with Android Keystore-backed encryption and rechecked when read. There is no G&K Studios LLC receipt-upload server or separate billing backend.
The Google Play Billing SDK sends billing diagnostics and app/device information to Google to operate and diagnose billing. This includes billing operations and errors, app and SDK versions, random billing-client/session and transaction correlation identifiers, and device, network, locale and timing information. These network services are separate from your local RageQuit rules and tracked use. Google processes this information under its policies. Google Play may also make transaction records available to G&K Studios LLC for purchase support and order management. We use such records to administer purchases and resolve support requests.
A successful Google Play ownership check updates purchased access, including after a refund, revocation or account change. If Google Play is unavailable, a previously verified local receipt can retain access until a later successful check. Clearing local app data deletes that local cache; an eligible purchase can be restored through the purchasing Google Play account. Local access grants, when provided, are also stored with device-bound encryption and are removed by clearing app data.
Accessibility access
For ordinary app use, RageQuit reads package identities, window information and the occurrence of click or scroll events to recognize selected apps, track eligible use and place its own effects. It does not read the selected app’s messages, typed input or screen contents, traverse its ordinary content, or take screenshots.
Storage management uses RageQuit’s own screen, which Android can open from supported Settings pages. It does not use Accessibility to read Settings screen text or intercept system confirmations. App info, clearing the cache, uninstalling and the Accessibility toggle remain available without the Rage Code.
This information is processed on your device; it is not sold or shared with G&K Studios LLC or an analytics service. Read the full Accessibility explanation for the purpose, limits and consent controls.
Media Playback access
With your Android notification-listener permission, RageQuit checks selected apps’ published playback-session package, playing state and local-or-remote classification. It does not read notification messages, track titles, artwork, queues, playback positions or another app’s audio.
A held Hum attempt may request one bounded pause of a supported selected local session. After microphone cleanup, it may resume that same session once if the required state and safety checks still hold. It does not send playback commands to remote receivers. Session observations and temporary pause ownership are not saved as history.
Learn why Android calls this Notification access and how it affects supported background playback.
Microphone and challenge sensors
Microphone access is required to finish first-time setup. Humiliation captures sound only during an explicit held attempt and analyzes it locally for accepted humming. Release, cancellation, completion, permission loss and safety limits stop capture. No audio recording, voice profile or pitch history is saved or uploaded; only earned challenge progress can persist.
Configured, visible motion and compass challenges use available device sensors for their tasks. Missing or stale readings do not earn progress. The retired Touch Grass step challenge is not offered in the current catalog, and Physical Activity access is not requested by the current setup. Granting any access alone does not assign a bait or start a recording.
Background services and output controls explains automatic sounds and vibration, visible sensor tasks, held microphone capture and real media-volume changes.
Your controls and local records
First-time setup requires Accessibility, Notifications, Microphone and Media Playback. Review Android access through Rage HQ → Update Rage Access or Android’s settings. The Rage Code protects configuration changes. Stop outputs is available in the active output notification, and system navigation remains accessible.
Local configuration and progress remain available between app sessions. If Full Access ends, paid baits and extra apps pause while their settings stay saved. The selected free app and its free baits remain eligible. Clearing the cache keeps your Rage Code, rules and tracked-use totals. Clearing stored app data or uninstalling removes local configuration, code verifiers, usage records, challenge progress and cached access records. There is no cloud copy of this setup or account-based Rage Code recovery.
Deleting app data does not delete Google Play’s transaction records or itself cancel or refund a purchase. Google handles those records under its policies. Contact us about personal information you have provided through support; we retain it only as needed to handle the request, administer purchases or meet applicable recordkeeping requirements.
On supported Android Settings pages, the storage-management button opens Manage RageQuit storage. The reset scope is visible without a code. Resetting requires a fresh Rage Code check and a separate explicit confirmation; if no code has been set, confirmation is still required. This screen works independently of Accessibility. Uninstall/reinstall, privileged tools such as ADB, recovery and manufacturer-specific routes may bypass it, so it does not guarantee prevention of every reset.
This website and support email
This website does not include client analytics, advertising trackers, account sign-in or a contact form. It is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Opening a website link from RageQuit launches your browser and sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and the requested page, to the hosting provider so the page can be delivered. Your browser and hosting provider handle that request separately from the app. The links do not include your Rage Code, selected apps, rules or tracked usage.
An email link opens your email service. If you choose to send a message, G&K Studios LLC receives the address, message and attachments you provide, and uses them to handle your request. Your email provider also processes that message under its own terms. Please leave out your Rage Code, private app content and other information the support request does not need.
