Updated October 23, 2026. RageQuit is available for Android on Google Play. Device and regional availability are shown in the store.

The usual suspects

What is free, and what does Full Access include?

The free allowance covers one eligible app on your Hit List and five Rage Baits: Blackout, Button Beatdown, Horn of Regret, Volume Drop and Calculation Crisis. You can preview all twenty baits for free.

Full Access is a one-time Google Play purchase that unlocks all baits and unlimited eligible Hit List apps. It is not a subscription. Open Rage HQ → Full Access to see the current price in your local currency and buy through Google Play. Availability and the final checkout price are shown by Google Play.

Purchasing does not unlock protected configuration changes. Your normal Rage Code and Android access requirements still apply.

How do I restore a purchase or fix missing Full Access?

Use the Google Play account that made the purchase, connect to Google Play, and choose Rage HQ → Full Access → Restore purchase. You can restore after reinstalling, clearing local data or moving to another supported device. This restores eligible purchased access; it does not restore local Hit List settings or usage records.

A pending payment does not unlock Full Access. Wait until Google Play completes it, then restore again. A cancelled or failed purchase does not unlock access. If the store is temporarily unavailable, previously confirmed access can remain available from this device’s local cache.

A successful ownership check can remove purchased access after a refund, revocation or account change. RageQuit cannot detect these changes immediately while Google Play is unavailable. For purchase problems, contact support with the order information you choose to share, never your Rage Code or payment-card details.

What happens to my setup if Full Access ends?

Your saved apps, baits, timing, intensity settings and tracked use stay on the device. Paid baits and extra apps are visibly paused. Only the app chosen for the free slot and its assigned free baits can run. Restoring Full Access reactivates saved settings when their ordinary access and eligibility checks pass.

With the Rage Code, use Use as free app on a saved Hit List app to choose which one uses the free allowance. Switching the free app preserves the other saved settings. Older setups, or removal of the chosen app, fall back to the first remaining app. If your free app has only paid baits saved, choose a free bait yourself; RageQuit will not assign one automatically.

What does Payment pending or Payment in limbo mean?

Google Play has not yet confirmed a completed, verified purchase. Full Access stays locked while payment is pending. Use View on the payment notice, or Rage HQ → View payment status, then Check status to ask Google Play for an update.

Keep raging for free closes the payment screen and lets you continue with the free allowance. Closing it does not cancel your Google Play purchase. Access unlocks after the purchase is confirmed; a canceled or failed payment does not unlock access. If Google Play asks you to finish a payment step, complete it through Google Play.

When do Rage Baits start?

Each selected app has its own Rage delay: the daily tracked-use allowance before its build-up begins. Fuse length controls how much additional tracked app use that build-up takes. Time away from the app does not burn the fuse. Each assigned bait also has its own maximum-intensity cap.

Passive effects can build gradually. Interactive challenges follow their own schedule, so a higher intensity does not mean every challenge appears immediately. Check the app’s progression chart and assigned baits in your Hit List.

Why does RageQuit need Android permissions?

First-time setup requires four access types: Accessibility, Notifications, Microphone and Media Playback. Accessibility identifies active apps, tracks eligible use and presents effects. Notifications keep output controls available. Microphone supports held Humiliation attempts. Media Playback supports selected apps’ published playback sessions.

Review access in Rage HQ → Update Rage Access. Android owns the permission controls; granting access alone does not assign a bait. Assigned, eligible sound and vibration effects operate automatically when their timing and access requirements are met.

Read how Accessibility access works, background services and output controls, and our privacy notice before enabling access. Android remains in control of these permissions.

What do Media Playback and microphone access do?

Both are required to finish first-time setup. Media Playback can track selected apps’ published playing sessions, including supported background playback. During a held Hum attempt, it can also pause and safely resume qualifying selected local players. Support depends on what the player reports; remote receivers are not controlled.

Microphone access supports Humiliation. Listening starts only while you hold its control and stops when you release it or the attempt ends. RageQuit does not save recordings. Access by itself never starts listening.

Android calls Media Playback access Notification access. This is separate from permission to show RageQuit’s own notifications. See what it accesses and controls.

How do I stop sound or vibration?

Open the Android notification shade and use Stop outputs in RageQuit’s active output notification. This stops the current outputs; it does not erase your saved rules or tracked use. System navigation remains available during challenges.

If something behaves unexpectedly, stop the session before trying again and tell us which bait, Android version and app were involved.

Read about preview controls, stopping outputs and background playback.

Do previews change my setup or make real sound?

All twenty active baits can be previewed for free. Opening a preview starts its demonstration automatically when the necessary access and hardware are available. Sound and vibration are real, and Volume Drop can lower actual media volume. Humiliation listens only while you hold its control.

Previews do not assign baits, change saved rules or add tracked use. Use Stop or leave the preview to end its run. A stopped or interrupted preview needs Play to restart during that visit.

Does the Volume Drop preview change my phone’s volume?

Yes. A Volume Drop preview can lower the phone’s actual media volume. Stopping or leaving the preview does not restore the previous level. Use Android’s volume controls to set it again. Read the Volume Drop explanation before previewing.

What do Clear cache, Clear storage and uninstall do?

Clear cache removes temporary cache files and keeps your Rage Code, rules, selected baits and tracked-use totals. It does not need the Rage Code.

Clearing stored app data erases RageQuit’s configuration, code verifier, tracked totals and challenge progress. On supported Android Settings pages, the storage-management button opens Manage RageQuit storage. You can read the reset scope freely; resetting requires a fresh Rage Code check and a separate explicit confirmation. If no code has been set, confirmation is still required.

Opening App info or Storage, uninstalling RageQuit and changing its Accessibility toggle remain available without a Rage Code. Uninstalling removes local records too. There is no cloud copy of your setup or tracked use. Eligible Google Play purchases can be restored separately; deleting app data does not itself cancel or refund a purchase.

The storage screen works independently of Accessibility. RageQuit does not read Android Settings text to manage storage. Uninstall/reinstall, privileged tools such as ADB, device recovery or manufacturer-specific routes can bypass this screen, so it cannot guarantee prevention of every reset. Read about storage management.

I forgot the Rage Code. Can you recover it?

Ask the trusted person who set your code first. RageQuit has no account-based code recovery, and we cannot retrieve the original code. Please contact support before attempting a reset: recovery that removes app data also removes local rules and tracked totals.

Never include your Rage Code in a support message.

Where can I download RageQuit?

Install RageQuit from its official Google Play listing, published by G&K Studios LLC. The store shows device compatibility and availability in your region. The free download includes one eligible Hit List app and five free baits; Full Access is an optional one-time in-app purchase.

Will it work with every app, phone or casting setup?

Behavior depends on Android’s available app-window, playback and hardware information. Split screen, floating video, background playback and sensor support can vary. RageQuit is an accountability tool; it does not guarantee every usage path is covered or that Android settings cannot be changed.
